1854-D $5 Medium D VF30 NGC. Variety 31-W. Definitely scarcer than its Large D counterpart, and also preferable to the Weak D variety. Orange-gold patination shows traces of sky-blue. Moderately worn and lightly abraded.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 88258, GSID# 9009)
