1855-O $5 AU55 PCGS. A difficult New Orleans No Motto issue, as only 11,100 pieces were struck and none were set aside by collectors until decades later. The present straw-gold half eagle is devoid of mentionable marks and has a good strike, though the eagle's neck and fletchings lack absolute detail.
