1856 $5 MS63 PCGS. The 1856 is scarcer than its nearly 200,000 mintage might suggest. It is most frequently seen in XF or AU condition and is rare in Mint State. Rich peach-gold patina shows on both side of this Select example, each of which possesses ample luster and is minimally abraded. The design elements are crisply struck throughout.
