Desirable AU 1856-D Five
1856-D $5 AU50 PCGS. CAC. Variety 33-BB. Sole variety for the year. While the centers show a touch of striking softness in addition to mild wear, the stars are well-defined. The dusky orange-gold luster on each side is rich and rewarding. A few wispy abrasions and pinscratches in the fields account for the grade.
