Choice AU 1859-D Medium D Five
1859-D $5 Medium D AU55 NGC. Variety 36-CC. The 1859-D has the second lowest mintage in the series with only 10,366 pieces minted. This piece has a good strike for the issue, and a delicate reddish overlay of patina on each side. Ample luster glows from protected areas. Census: 16 in 55, 45 finer (11/06).(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25VD, PCGS# 8282, Greysheet# 9030)
