1860-S $5 VF25 PCGS. The San Francisco Mint coined 21,200 half eagles in 1860, and it is likely that every one entered circulation. The present piece has considerable wear, and it is typical of those that survive. The surfaces are pleasing and mark-free, with excellent eye appeal for the grade.
