Frosty 1861 Liberty Five, MS64+
1861 $5 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. All No Motto Liberty half eagles are rare in Mint State grades, and that is especially true in higher numeric levels. This near-Gem is a remarkable piece with precise design definition, frosty light yellow luster, and splashes of orange near the borders. The few marks that can be found are mostly on the reverse. Population: 1 in 64+, 8 finer (1/11).(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25VK, PCGS# 8288, Greysheet# 8907)
