Sharp Choice XF 1866-S Motto Five
1866-S $5 Motto XF45 NGC. Both sides of this first-year Motto five remain subtly lustrous with rose-lavender peripheral tints highlighting the deep orange-gold color present elsewhere. Strongly struck for a San Francisco product of the era, with bold centers on most of the stars and well-defined strands in Liberty's hair.
