1866-S $5 No Motto VF35 PCGS. The 1866-S No Motto five is actually rarer than its famous double eagle counterpart, yet trades in like grades for a fraction of the price. Here is a moderately circulated apricot-gold Choice VF example with an unmarked appearance and ample luster within the reverse legends. Only 9,000 pieces were struck.
