1866-S $5 No Motto VG10 PCGS. A heavily circulated but entirely legible example of this final No Motto half eagle issue, one of just 9,000 pieces struck. Light yellow-gold surfaces show scattered abrasions, including a mark at Liberty's lower neck and a rim nick between 1 and 2 o'clock on the obverse.
