Semiprooflike Fields

1867 $5 AU55 NGC. The 1867 Liberty half eagle is scarce in all grades, coming from a mintage of only 6,870 pieces. This Choice AU example displays rich tangerine-gold color and semiprooflike fields, with well-struck design elements. Scattered light abrasions accompany the grade.
