Luminous Surfaces
1867 $5 MS60 NGC. Luminous orange-lilac surfaces show lots
of luster and scattered abrasions throughout both sides of this
low-mintage 1867 Philadelphia half eagle, struck to the extent of
only 6,800 pieces. Most certified examples are Choice XF to AU.From the collection of Donald E. Bently, sold for the benefit of the Bently Foundation.(Registry values: P3)
