1870 Five Dollar, AU58
One of the Finest Known

1870 $5 AU58 NGC. Only 4,000 pieces were struck of this rare Philadelphia issue and it is infrequently offered in AU condition, especially near-Mint condition. This is one of the finest examples known. The fields are bright and predictably semireflective. The design elements are sharply defined and there are numerous small abrasions scattered over each side.(Registry values: P3)
