1871-CC $5 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. XF. Variety 1-A. Traces of luster are evident on this rare Motto issue. The strike shows blending on the curls, usual for the early Carson City Mint. The apricot-gold surfaces are hairlined, but no bagmarks merit mention.(Registry values: P3)
