1871-CC $5 XF45 PCGS. CAC. Excellent striking definition for an early Carson City coin, though wear has affected the center of Liberty's head. Dusky sun-yellow surfaces remain luminous despite a number of faint marks. A small alloy spot is noted on the rim near star 5, and a much broader area affects the eagle's right (facing) wing. Population: 11 in 45, 20 finer (10/09).(Registry values: P3)
