Description
Bright 1871-CC Five Dollar, XF45
1871-CC $5 XF45 PCGS. The 1871-CC is one of the scarcest dates in the Liberty Head five dollar series, though pieces through Very Fine can be located with little trouble. Extremely Fine and About Uncirculated examples will take more searching and patience, and Mint State coins are truly rare. The bright yellow-gold surfaces of this Choice XF specimen display traces of luster in the recesses, and the design elements exhibit nice detail. Minimally abraded for a coin that has seen some circulation.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25WD, PCGS# 8323, GSID# 9051)
