Open 3, Rare in High Grade
1873 $5 Open 3 MS64 PCGS. CAC. From a mintage of 112,505
pieces, the 1873 Open 3 half eagle is surprisingly difficult to
locate in high grade. This well-detailed Choice specimen displays
satiny mint luster on both sides and the pleasing yellow and
rose-gold surfaces show only minor signs of contact. Population: 6
in 64, 3 finer (8/13).From The Strawberry Fields Collection.(Registry values: P3)
