1873 $5 Open 3 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. This is the more available type for 1873 Philadelphia half eagles, although it is scarce, bordering on rare, in near-Gem condition. Thickly frosted peach-gold surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster. The coin is fully struck, minimally marked, and exceptionally appealing, hence the green CAC sticker. Population: 10 in 64 (3 in 64+), 3 finer. CAC: 3 in 64, 0 finer (8/20).(Registry values: P3)
