Description
NGC 1873-S AU 50. The 1873-S is very rare with most surviving specimens only grading VF; XF coins are quite scarce. This is the second finest known example of the date, being exceeded in grade only by a PCGS AU 53. The surfaces of this coin are bright and show tiny portions of mint luster still in the protected areas. Lightly abraded. Trends $12,000 (2/15).
