Description

PCGS 1875-CC AU 50. An issue rarity as well as a condition rarity with most of the few known pieces only grading Fine and Very Fine. This is the first AU we have handled in over two years, and as such represents an extraordinary opportunity for the gold collector. This is a well struck specimen that has light yellow-gold surfaces that are enhanced by a deeper orange-gold patina at the rims. Reasonably well struck for the issue, the most obvious surface distraction is a milling mark on the lower cheek of Liberty.

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25WU, PCGS# 8337, Greysheet# 9060)
