Famous Centennial Issue
1876 $5 AU58 NGC. This impressive Centennial issue survives
from a low mintage of only 1,432 business strikes, making it one of
the important rarities in the Liberty half eagle series. Both sides
have nearly full luster with attractive light greenish-yellow
surfaces and sharp design motifs. Census: 8 in 58, 4 finer
(4/11).(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25WW, PCGS# 8339, Greysheet# 8923)
