Important 1876-CC Half Eagle, XF40

1876-CC $5 XF40 ICG. A key coin, the mintage of 6,887 was the lowest of any Carson City half eagle issue. Considerable pale blue patina is blended with the warm honey-gold surfaces of this pleasing half eagle. The surfaces are remarkably well preserved with only a few grade-consistent abrasions.(Registry values: P3)
