1878 $5 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Mint State examples of the 1878 five dollar are scarce through MS63 and rare any finer. This highly lustrous and well-preserved piece displays brass-gold surfaces that include greenish-gold and orange on the reverse, and exhibit sharply struck design elements. Population: 17 in 64 (2 in 64+), 5 finer (6/13).
