booming mint luster to produce memorable eye appeal on this Choice
19th century half eagle. The 1879 five dollar gold piece is quite
rare in MS64 condition, and examples in higher grades are virtually
unobtainable. The base of the 1 is repunched. Population: 5 in 64,
