Description

Bold AU 1879-CC Five Dollar

1879-CC $5 AU50 PCGS. Nearly full details are seen on both sides of this popular Carson City issue, thanks to a bold strike and less actual wear than the assigned grade would suggest. The color is a rich peach-gold and mint-green. There is plenty of luster, though moderate abrasions are visible on the obverse. Extremely rare in Mint State.(Registry values: P3)
