Not Sold Description
1879-CC $5 VF35 PCGS. A mere 17,281 pieces were produced of this Carson City issue, and survivors are scarce at any grade level. This example displays typical softness of definition on the eagle's neck and wing feathers. The design's highpoints are typically worn for the grade, but surface blemishes are minimal. An appealing Choice VF example with surprisingly deep rose-gold coloration. (Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25X8, PCGS# 8349, GSID# 9068)
