Description
Lustrous 1882 Gem Five Dollar
1882 $5 MS65 NGC. The 1882 five dollar had a generous mintage of more than 2.5 million pieces. It is readily available in the lower levels of Mint State, but its numbers drop significantly in MS65 and above. Brass-gold surfaces are awash in potent luster, and a solid strike leaves excellent definition on the motifs. A few minor marks may preclude an even higher grade. Census: 30 in 65, 2 finer (11/09).(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25XG, PCGS# 8358, Greysheet# 8929)
Weight: 8.36 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper

We believe that it meets the criteria established in Article 344(1), point (2) of Council Directive 2006/112/EC and thus should be exempt from import VAT regardless of the selling price. Any questions or concerns about VAT should be addressed to your accountant or local tax authority.
