1882-CC $5 AU55 NGC. Variety 1-A, the only one known. Yellow-gold surfaces are imbued with tints of light tan, and good definition is apparent on the design features. A few minute contacts are noted over each side, but these are fewer and of less severity that typically seen (Douglas Winter, 2001). A diagnostic die scratch is located between IB of LIBERTY.(Registry values: P3)
