1882-CC $5 AU58 PCGS. Variety 1-A. This is the only recorded die marriage for 1882-CC half eagles, and the present near-Mint specimen survives from a recorded mintage of 82,817 coins. Minor clash marks are evident on both sides. This piece has brilliant lemon-yellow surfaces with trivial marks on both sides. Population: 71 in 58, 14 finer (7/13).(Registry values: P3)
