Rare Gem 1882-S Liberty Five
Vibrant Mint Luster
1882-S $5 MS65 NGC. The 1882-S Liberty half eagle is an
underrated issue, especially in high grade. Examples in Gem
condition are quite rare, and finer specimens are virtually
unobtainable. This magnificent Gem is sharply detailed throughout,
with vibrant yellow-gold mint luster. Census: 29 in 65, 2 finer
(8/11).(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25XJ, PCGS# 8360, Greysheet# 9076)
