1882-S $5 MS65 NGC. This lustrous peach-gold Gem has a nearly pristine appearance save for a single brief hair-thin line above the eagle's right (facing) shoulder. Though a common issue in typical Mint State grades, the 1882-S becomes an important conditional rarity at the MS65 level. Census: 33 in 65 (1 in 65+), 3 finer (4/15).(Registry values: P2)
