Delightful 1882-S Liberty Five, MS65
1882-S $5 MS65 PCGS. This delightful Gem is housed in a green label PCGS holder. From a bold strike, the satiny yellow surfaces have brilliant orange and iridescent toning on both sides. Like so many issues of the late 19th century, this half eagle is an elusive condition rarity that is seldom found finer. Population: 8 in 65, 1 finer (6/09).(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25XJ, PCGS# 8360, Greysheet# 9076)
