1883-CC $5 AU58 PCGS. Variety 1-A. A lemon-gold Borderline Uncirculated rare date Carson City five with hints of green-gold along the obverse margin. Well struck and minimally abraded. Luster dominates all of the design aside from the open fields. Given the five-figure cost for one of the handful of Mint State pieces, the value provided by the present coin is irrefutable. Population: 18 in 58, 3 finer (4/13).(Registry values: P3)
