Description
Condition Rarity MS64 1884 Half Eagle
1884 $5 MS64 NGC. CAC. Generally well-struck, though a trifle soft on the eagle's neck feathers, with generous orange-yellow luster swirling across each side. A shallow flaw appears at the back of Liberty's jaw, but the Choice designation is well-deserved despite this small fault. NGC has graded only one example of this issue as MS65 or better (1/13).(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25XN, PCGS# 8364, Greysheet# 8931)
Weight: 8.36 grams
