PCGS 1884-CC AU 55. A rare, low mintage Carson City issue that is termed "prohibitively rare in AU" by Breen. This is surely one of the finest pieces known. The coin has bright prooflike fields, is minimally marked, and sharply defined throughout. A rare opportunity for the Carson City specialist. Trends $4,500 in AU 50, unlisted any finer.
