According to Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, "These half eagles represent some of the more undervalued coins in the U.S. gold series." The present coin is a delightful Choice specimen, with a razor-sharp strike and vibrant mint luster. The pleasing yellow-gold surfaces show no mentionable distractions.
