1885-S $5 MS65+ NGC. CAC. This high-end Gem Liberty Head five dollar shows a frosted portrait and razor-sharp definition on all the design elements. The obverse is partly contrasted, and both sides present pleasing rich, honey-gold coloration. The only visible flaw occurs below the hair bun. Rare any finer. Census: 5 in 65+, 1 in 65 , 13 finer. CAC: 20 in 65, 4 finer (5/22).(Registry values: P2)
