Gem Uncirculated 1885-S Five Dollar Gold
1885-S $5 MS65 PCGS. A common date S-mint Coronet Half Eagle in lower grades, as a Gem this becomes a condition rarity. In fact it is an excellent candidate for a gold type set. Sharply struck throughout, the mint luster is nicely frosted and the coin exhibits subtle green-gold colorations at the borders.
