Description

Pleasing 1890-CC Half Eagle, MS62

1890-CC $5 MS62 PCGS. The 1890-CC was the first half eagle struck at the Carson Mint since 1884 and it is scarce in most grades. Splendid yellow-gold patina enhances the surfaces of this crisply struck specimen. The pleasing cartwheel luster is unaffected by scattered abrasions. An excellent example for the type collector.
