1890-CC Half Eagle, Prooflike MS63+

1890-CC $5 MS63+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Nevada Collection. This is a marvelous, prooflike example of a CC-mint half eagle, one of the last few issues from the fabled Western mint. Both sides feature splendid reddish-orange coloration, with a sharp strike that is close to full. The sole PCGS Plus-graded coin at this level. Population: 1 in 63+, 32 finer (9/15).(Registry values: P2)
