1891-CC $5 MS63 PCGS. Variety 1-A, with a crack from the bust tip to star 1 and up. This scintillating Carson City five dollar gold piece is nearly fully struck. Orange-gold surfaces radiate frosty mint luster and exhibit relatively few major marks. The 1891-CC (208,000 coins minted) ranks among the more collectible half eagles from this always-popular facility.(Registry values: P1)
