Near-Gem 1891-CC Half Eagle With Rich Orange-Gold Color

1891-CC $5 MS64 NGC. Winter 1-A. A second near-Gem example of this popular Carson City issue. This piece has a very different appearance, though, with rich orange-gold color rather than the bright yellow-gold of the piece above. Sharply defined throughout with just a few small luster grazes that separate this coin from a full Gem.
