1891-CC $5 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Variety 2-A. The second 1 in the date is microscopically doubled along its top, with several peripheral die cracks on the reverse. Two obverse dies and one reverse die have been identified from a mintage of 208,000 coins. This Choice Mint State piece has brilliant yellow luster with scattered, inconsequential marks, and trivial copper toning spots. Population: 91 in 64 (5 in 64+), 2 finer. CAC: 21 in 64, 0 finer (2/19).(Registry values: P1)
