1892 Liberty Half Eagle, MS66
Razor-Sharp Details
1892 $5 MS66 NGC. High-grade examples of the 1892 half eagle
are scarce despite the mintage of about three-quarters of a million
coins. This reddish-orange Premium Gem shows a sharp strike on
Liberty's hair, the beads, the star centers, and throughout the
reverse. Abrasions are minimal, in concert with the grade. Census:
