1892-O Half Eagle, MS 62
1892-O MS 62 PCGS. A rare, late date, O-mint with an impressively low mintage of only 10,000 pieces, most of which were released into circulation. Bright yellow-gold color overall, the surfaces show numerous small abrasions but not the heavy marks normally encountered on an MS 62. No higher examples have been graded by either service. Population: 5 in 62, none finer (5/98).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25Y8, PCGS# 8381, Greysheet# 9088)
