Description

1893-CC Five Dollar, MS62
Scarce Old West Gold

1893-CC $5 MS62 PCGS. Variety 1-A. The final year of Carson City production saw a mintage of 60,000 half eagles, and examples are elusive in all Mint State grades. This butter-god example displays bright luster and excellent design definition. Distributed small abrasions prevent a higher grade.
