1893-CC $5 MS63 PCGS. Variety 1-A. Two obverse dies and two reverse dies were combined to coin three die varieties of the 1893-CC half eagles, and the 1-A die pair is seen more frequently than either 1-B or 2-A. This Select Mint State specimen has frosty luster with brilliant light yellow surfaces and trivial marks on each side. Population: 9 in 63, 4 finer (3/13).(Registry values: P2)
