Select 1893-O Five Dollar

1893-O $5 MS63 NGC. Only a few half eagle issues were struck at New Orleans after the facility re-opened in 1879. This lustrous honey-gold example is boldly struck, and field marks are relatively sparse. Census: 10 in 63, 2 finer (11/09).(Registry values: P3)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25YC, PCGS# 8385, Greysheet# 9091)

Weight: 8.36 grams

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
