1893-O Five Dollar, MS63

1893-O $5 MS63 NGC. Variety 1. The low date variant of this comparatively scarce New Orleans issue. The coruscating sun-gold surfaces are smooth aside from small abrasions on the left obverse field. The strike shows minor blending on the curls above the ear and on the eagle's neck plumage. Motto Liberty O-mint issues were coined only between 1892 and 1894. Census: 15 in 63, 3 finer (10/13).(Registry values: P3)
