1894-S $5 MS60 NGC. The mintmark is repunched. Well struck with full even luster and a pleasing, flashy sheen. Numerous small abrasions and a shallow scrape, in the left obverse field, define the grade. Only 55,900 pieces were struck, few if any of which were set aside at the time of issue. Census: 3 in 60, 18 finer (7/08).(Registry values: P3)
